This vessel started life as a mature piece of oak, saved from a water logged ditch that lay on the Glastonbury festival site.

This piece is a real character, with thick chunky walls and rim adding some considerable weight, and adds to the feel of a quality piece.

this has a raised grain and an aged distressed look that appears to tell the story of time. This authenticity is furthered by the splits, warping and other features on the bowl.

with both the chalk paint weathered exterior and gold leaf interior adding to signs of age

I love the look of this piece, so much so it bares my makers mark, also highlighted with gold leaf notes, on the bottom of the piece.

this piece is finished with a natural beeswax, making it easy to maintain throughout your many years of ownership if you wish to buy.

(Disclaimer) : Although this is a semi functional art piece. I cannot as the maker garuntee the longevity, of both paint, and gold leaf finishes staying in tact for a prolonged period if used regularly. (Use at Own risk)

Dimensions: (at widest points)

height: 150mm

Width: 320mm
