Not So Plane
Sometimes when sourcing or picking a piece of wood you’re lucky to find that either its quarter sawn, or there’s burr, or the piece is spalted. Well this piece has all three !
A beautiful spalted plane burr. The form of this vessel was made solely to highlight the fascinating spalt lines, and burr, that should be the focus, and because of the form I think i’ve achieved that.
