Jewelled Ash
A true relic, this piece Presents itself with a conflicting presence. To me it represents a level of aggression and hostility, whilst simultaneously presenting a fragility. A bowl of two halves, I can confidently say this is a piece that most wouldn’t even bother to try and salvage, but I knew it had potential. Although it is a fragile piece this relic is unlike anything i’ve seen and truly reiterates don’t judge a book by its cover (or in this case a log)
disclaimer: Before buying this I want the new potential buyer to understand that this bowl does have a fragility to it, it is more so a piece of art being bought for its form and what it represents. It certainly can be used as a conventional vessel at your own risk, and probably would be fine, but as a family fruit bowl it may be asking a little bit too much of this delicate piece.
