Quilted Oak
Inspired By quilted patchwork and thin sandblasted lace oak. The amalgamation of the two results in a beautifully crafted piece of wall art. This piece is all brought together and finished with oxidised copper to secure and compliment the fine oak slices. Because each individual disk of oak has been encouraged to warp after sandblasting, this piece presents incredible depth bringing it off the wall in areas and really making it come to life.
This of course is a fragile piece, so quilted oak is sold with the understanding that this is a work of art to be treated lovingly and carefully in the right environment.
