This bowl was thought up after a walk on the beach one day, we can all appreciate that a stone always looks better after water has touched it. Making all the detail across the stone pop. And so I thought why not make a bowl that created the permanent wet look showcasing the beauty of natural stones on a beach.and so this bowl was created.

It was extremely difficult to make and even harder to finish. And although the photos still don’t do the bowl justice, I think you can see the quality of the finish achieved. A perfectly polished resin allowing you to see all the stones within in perfect detail.

I created a continuous gradient in size of stone throughout the bowl and I love the effect achieved.

There’s no prizes for guessing this might weigh more than your average bowl, this clocks the scales at a hefty 6.25 kg.

This shear amount of time and work as-well as materials, combined with the near perfect finish and it’s true uniqueness justifies the price in my eyes.

I hope you think this bowl is as interesting as I do, and thank-you for taking the time to look.

Although this product is finished to a very high standard, it is handmade and therefore may have very small imperfections.
